Sparks in the Park schools art competition

To help promote the 29th annual Sparks in the Park event, one of the main aims of which is to promote safety in the community, and to help engage the local community, Cardiff Round Table have launched an art competition for schools and children in the Cardiff area.
Entry forms have been distributed to all the schools in Cardiff with the help of our friends at Cardiff Council. Children are invited to prepare a piece of art on a theme of either Fireworks/Guy Fawkes night, or Halloween, or Round Table. Entries will be separated into three categories by age- Foundation Phase, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
Entries should be sent, to arrive no later than Friday 23rd October at 5.00pm, to the following address:

The Prizes- for the winning artist

Firstly, we will refund the cost of your Family Ticket for Sparks in the Park (or give you a ticket if you haven’t booked one). If you haven’t booked yet, we will give you a free ticket. Then, we’ll offer you a chance to appear in the newspapers. On the night, we will make sure you get the VIP treatment, and get the chance to go up on the stage with Kam and Sally from Red Dragon FM, who will present you with a goody bag.

The Prizes- for the school
As a thank you for the efforts of Heads and teachers, Cardiff Round Table will make a donation of £200 to each of the winning schools, to go towards sports equipment or similar. We will also ensure that you get lots of lovely publicity for your school!
